Toybox Day Nursery

At Toybox Nursery we offer quality childcare, ensuring that both parents and children enter an environment that is warm and friendly, with care and education of the highest standard.

With a setting that provides educare for children aged 3 months to five years, it is important to understand that we view all age groups as a stepping-stone towards preparing them for their future.

Why choose toybox nursery?

Toybox Nursery was launched over 30 years ago and provides quality childcare where children can thrive and make positive memories. The nursery follows the Curiosity Approach™ using a nurturing and child-led approach to promote wonder, awe and curiosity.

We have a large outdoor play area which enables children to play out in the fresh air outdoors on a daily basis. This runs alongside the Get Active sessions we offer using the College athletics facilities and our woodland area which enables the children to access the natural environment and promote wellbeing.

Toybox Nursery has recently been inspected and is rated as ‘Excellent’. Read our Care Inspectorate Wales inspection report here and our Estyn inspection report here.

Toybox Nursery works alongside Croes Y Bont implementing the Welsh Language at the Nursery. Children take part in Welsh activities, learn Welsh songs and support the staff implementing incidental Welsh phrases throughout the day.

Toybox nursery caters for all dietary requirements. If your child follows a special diet due to allergies, intolerances, medical needs, cultural or religious beliefs we can provide a separate menu to support their needs.

Each child who attends Toybox Nursery is treated equally and fairly and given the same opportunities to reach their full potential. If a child requires additional support, the Nursery will work closely with parents and external agencies such as pre-school development teams, Health Visitors and Additional Learning Needs Coordinators.
