At Toybox Nursery, we provide high-quality childcare and education in a warm, friendly and nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued and supported to thrive.
We care for children aged 1–5 years, providing a child-centred, play-based approach where children are encouraged to explore, discover, develop independence and learn at their own pace. Following the Curriculum for Wales, we recognise that every child is unique and support their individual interests, needs and development.

Toybox Nursery was launched over 30 years ago and provides quality childcare where children can thrive and make positive memories. The nursery follows the Curiosity Approachâ„¢ using a nurturing and child-led approach to promote wonder, awe and curiosity.
We have a large outdoor play area which enables children to play out in the fresh air outdoors on a daily basis. This runs alongside the Get Active sessions we offer using the College athletics facilities and our woodland area which enables the children to access the natural environment and promote wellbeing.

Outdoor Learning – We love the outdoors! Children enjoy daily outdoor play, access to our Forest School area and weekly Get Active sessions using the Coleg Cambria Sports Hall and Athletics Track.
Flying Start – As an established Flying Start provider, we offer high-quality early years experiences and dedicated Flying Start provision for eligible children.
Welsh Language – Our Welsh Champion supports staff to introduce Welsh naturally through songs, stories, activities and everyday phrases.
Inclusive Support – Every child is treated as an individual and given the opportunity to learn, develop and reach their full potential. Where additional support is needed, we work closely with families, our ALNCo and relevant professionals.
Dietary Requirements – We work with families to meet individual dietary needs, including allergies, intolerances, medical requirements and cultural or religious dietary needs.
