Our Twlip-Tulip Room provides dedicated Flying Start provision for children aged 2–3 years.
The provision is term time only, with children learning through play, exploration and discovery while following their individual interests and developmental needs.
Children have direct access to our outdoor play area, providing opportunities to be active, explore and develop their physical skills, confidence and wellbeing.

The ratio is 1 adult to 4 children. Each childcare practitioner is qualified to a minimum of Level 3, many of our staff are qualified at Level 5. We build positive partnerships with parents, giving support and advice on your child’s growth and development, communicating with parents throughout the day via the Seesaw App. The team is led by a Senior Nursery Nurse.
The children in the Butterfly room are encouraged to communicate, play together and to find their voices together. We have a wide range of toys and our activities are varied. They include glueing, painting, sand play and baking. We encourage the children to explore and experiment through creative play and outdoor activities, to grow and develop.
