The Ladybird room cares for babies aged 12-18 months. The large open space is warm, homely and friendly, with a relaxed and calm atmosphere, and direct access to the outdoor play area, enabling your baby to thrive in their development.
Along with a daily routine that the room has in place, we follow the lead of your baby and they can sleep when needed to ensure the children get the quality of rest needed to grow and develop. This enables your baby to experience a wide range of play and learning experiences as well as the Curiosity Approach®.
The ratio is 1 adult to 3 babies. Each childcare practitioner is qualified to a minimum of Level 3, many of our staff are qualified at Level 5. We build positive partnerships with parents, giving support and advice on your child’s growth and development, communicating with parents throughout the day via the Seesaw App. We are also a breastfeeding friendly nursery.
The team is led by a Senior Nursery Nurse who has a wealth of experience with babies. Along with the adjacent Caterpillar Room, both baby rooms work closely together as a baby unit which provides a safe, secure and familiar atmosphere for babies to explore, grow and develop.
