About the room
The Bumblebee room cares for children aged 2.5 – 3 years. The room is an open, airy space which is warm and homely, offering a home from home ethos. Children can directly access the outdoor play area throughout the day to play with the outdoor toys, climb, roll and run around, and explore.
The Bumblebee room follows a daily routine to allow the children to experience a wide range of play and learning experiences, as well as the Curiosity Approach™.
What else should you know?
In the Bumblebee room the ratio is 1 adult to 4 children. Each childcare practitioner is qualified to a minimum of Level 3, with many of our staff are qualified at Level 5. We build positive partnerships with parents, giving support and advice on your child’s growth and development, communicating with parents throughout the day via the Seesaw App.
The team is led by a Senior Nursery Nurse. In the Bumblebee room we encourage the children to play together, develop friendships and learn how to express themselves. We provide opportunities to fill their days with learning experiences using a wide range of activities, these include sand, malleable play, books, block play, exploratory play, role play and movement.
